Budapest : The day we visited the Buda Castle : iphone photos

I want to thank both Mariann and Berci for being such awesome hosts and showing me around the coolest parts of Budapest.  Budapest, Hungary’s capital city, consists of two parts, Buda and Pest and these are divided by the beautiful river Danube.  The Buda Castle is the 1st district in Budapest and is located on the Buda side of Budapest on the castle hill. The National Art Gallery, Fisherman’s Bastion, Trinity square and Matthias church can be found in this beautiful historical district. Walking in the streets of the castle district is an authentic experience to the history of Hungary and a must for all visitors. You can easily get to the district by bus from the Moszkva or Deák Ferenc square. The district has only restricted car access, so it’s advised to go there by foot.  Inside the Buda Castle, Mariann, Berti (her son), and I had a light lunch at this restaurant called Halászbástya Étterem.  The service was beyond superb and I believe it might be the best service I have ever experienced in my life.

Mariann and Berci took me to the Sziget Festival, one of the biggest music festival/concert in the world.  Words and photos cannot describe the experience I had but I tried my best to capture it.  Again, thank you Mariann and Berci.  Because of you, I got to try my first Goulash the right way and got to experience Sziget Festival the best way.  I want to thank Helga for bringing them into my life.  I love you guys.
